Royal Jordanian increases frequency of Amman-Aqaba flights to 17 weekly

As part of its continuous efforts to promote domestic tourism, this time to the city of Aqaba, which launched the Aqaba Carnival, Royal Jordanian has increased flight frequencies between Amman and Aqaba to 17 per week and adjusted the flight schedules to meet the needs of all traveler segments.
RJ Vice Chairman/CEO Samer Majali said that the airline strategy focuses on projecting Jordan and its tourist sites to the world whilst attracting Arab and international tourists. He added that RJ is also keen on promoting domestic tourism, thus enabling Jordanian families to travel to Aqaba to enjoy their holidays in warmer weather during the winter season by offering appealing prices. As part of the promo fares to Aqaba, round-trip tickets are sold starting from JD49 and one-way tickets starting from JD26. This new rate applies to mid-day flights only.
RJ is a strategic partner to Jordan Tourism Board and other concerned authorities in promoting Jordan and facilitating visits to the Kingdom from all over the world; it also endeavors to promote Aqaba as a unique coastal destination.
