Royal Jordanian’s Emergency Committee held a meeting on Sunday, January 4, 2015, headed by Acting President/CEO Captain Haitham Misto, to discuss the airline’s readiness to deal with the exceptional weather conditions forecast for the kingdom during the next few days.

Captain Misto called on all concerned sectors of Royal Jordanian to be prepared to deal with the expected weather conditions to ensure efficient operation of the flights schedule, and to provide services to passengers in addition to facilitating dropping them off and picking them up at Queen Alia International Airport.

He pointed that RJ will keep passengers informed about possible updates or changes in flight times.

Misto stressed that the safety of passengers, staff and aircraft is a priority for all operational, commercial or technical procedures, adding that RJ will work relentlessly to ensure everyone’s safety.

The airline will work in coordination with various parties working at the airport and with the Greater Amman Municipality, which expressed willingness to fully cooperate in this matter, to enable crew members to reach QAIA by opening the roads leading to and from their areas of residence.

Royal Jordanian will keep passengers informed about all development through different means of communication, mainly through short text messages (SMS) via their cell phones or through the travel agents’ phones, whose numbers show on their tickets, in addition to the airline website and various other channels, said Misto, adding that all passengers can call the RJ call center around the clock at 00962 6 5100000.
