Samsung hosts fun-filled activities at smart TV academy

Samsung Electronics Co Ltd, a global leader in digital media and digital convergence technologies, is hosting Samsung ‘Kids Fun-Tasia and ‘Fitness Mania’. Taking place over two consecutive weekends at the Smart TV Academy, the events will be packed with a variety of activities that will appeal to all family members.

At the ‘Kids Fun-tasia’event, both children and parents can participate and enjoy a range of exciting activities such as kids storytelling, face painting and play sessions; kids will also be able to meet popular children’s character - Dibo the Dragon.

Health enthusiasts and individuals will be able to get a free consultation from a fitness specialist at the Samsung ‘Fitness Mania’event. The fitness specialist will also design a customized fitness program based on the participant’s results using the Samsung Smart TV fitness app.

Samsung’s Kids Fun-Tasia will take place on August 31^st from 3pm – 8pm and Samsung ‘Fitness Mania’ will take place on September 7 from 3pm – 9pm at the Smart TV Academy, Harman House showroom in Dubai Mall.

Earlier this year, Samsung launched the latest Smart TV, which includes the Kids application, consisting of child-friendly programs and games for children aged between 3 to 6 years old. The Samsung Smart TV can also turn into your personal trainer through the Fitness application. This feature gives consumers a convenient way to stay healthy by exercising through your Samsung TV. The TV’s built-in camera splits it into two screens to create a virtual mirror allowing users to monitor their exercise routine.
