Samsung electronics levant holds Android applications workshop
Samsung Electronics Levant, a leading mobile phone provider, hosted a training workshop for the developers of android operating system applications, in collaboration with Jordan Gaming Labs and Pencilo Company.
The main goal of the three day workshop was to introduce the android operating system for mobile phones and its various features to local developers, and to highlight Samsung applications store which is devoted to Samsung's smartphone applications.
The highly anticipated workshop among distinguished developers is the sequel to previous training workshops held by Samsung for applications companies, local applications developers and university students who are interested in application development for mobile phone, tablets and smart TVs.
"We are proud of the role we undertake particularly in Jordan and in the Levant region generally. We do not just introduce our technological smart devices in Jordan and Arab markets, but our ambition is to also complete our pioneering work by introducing special content of these smart devices, and to introduce the Jordanian developers to the capabilities of the special android operating system of our smartphones which gained vast popularity and great success in the Jordanian market", said Mr. Sangsuk Roh, president of Samsung Levant.
Mr. Roh also added: "By hosting this training workshop for the new generation of application developers, we look forward, here and in the Levant, to offer unique content for the region to meet its needs and suit its culture. We hope to continue our efforts in supporting the Jordanian developers who have proved their ongoing creativity and success in this field".
Samsung will give the developers an opportunity to participate in the challenge competition of android operating system applications.
