Samsung expand Hope for Children campaign

In-line with its corporate social responsibility and it’s believe in reaching to a wider audience of beneficiaries, Samsung Electronics expanded its “Hope for Children” campaign to include the Madrasati initiative.
With this new revelation, Samsung will be able to reach underprivileged students across the kingdom, by providing many schools with the necessary school books, stories and encyclopedias through the Madrasati network.
Commenting on the importance of this partnership, Mr. Sangsuk Roh Samsung Electronic Levant president said, “It is imperative for us to strike such partnership, not only to decrease the gap between the private and public sector, but also to strengthen our commitment and role towards our community, by providing a better educational environment that is healthy and safe.”
The Madrasati expansion is one of other spin off campaigns from Samsung’s “Hope for Children” campaign which was launched in 2010 with the aim of a better education for underprivileged students. One was the “Run and Support Education” campaign which was launched during the 2011 Samsung Amman International Marathon, whereby educational and entertaining books were distributed to the SOS villages in Amman, Irbid and Beirut, in addition to schools within the Madrasati initiative.
It is also worth mentioning Samsung concluded the year 2011 with the “Bus of Hope Campaign”, whereby donations were collected and distributed to SOS villages in Jordan, Lebanon and Syria, in addition to revamping their computer labs.
