Samsung laser printer won BLI’s Monochrome Printer Line of the Year

Samsung Electronics was chosen as "Monochrome Printer Line of the Year" by Buyers Laboratory. (BLI), a US-based printer quality evaluation organization.

BLI awarded Samsung the "Monochrome Printer Line of the Year" in recognition of the printers' excellence in performance and design. Four other monochrome and color laser products as well as Samsung Easy Eco Driver were selected as the most outstanding products in their respected classes. In total, Samsung was awarded in six categories.

The BLI awards clearly show the improved reputation of Samsung's laser printers. Marlene Orr, a senior analyst of BLI, said "Samsung's growth and innovation means a portfolio stocked with devices that offer a strong value proposition. From money-saving features, especially those concerning the environment, to ease of use and reliability, it's A4 devices make Samsung richly deserving of this honor"

Samsung's monochrome laser printer (ML-2955), monochrome laser multifunctional printer (SCX-4729), monochrome laser printer (ML-5010ND), color Laser printer (CLP-775ND) and Easy Eco Drive software were all awarded for their eco-friendliness.

The Monochrome laser printer (ML-2955) and multifunctional device (SCX-4729) which can print out 28 pages per minute were selected as "Outstanding A4 Personal Monochrome Printer" and "Outstanding A4 Personal Networked Monochrome MFP" respectively. The ML-2955 and SCX-4729 series received positive feedback for their convenience, eco-friendliness, compact design, and 'smart print function' which enables users to print from mobile devices.

The monochrome laser printer (ML-5010ND), which can print out 48 pages per minute, was awarded the "Outstanding A4 Monochrome Printer for Large Workgroups". The ML-5010ND can begin printing out the first page after only seven seconds once activated from the suspend mode, which is the fastest performance in its kind. The device, driven by a 600MHz Dual-core CPU, provides seamless printing with its anti-jam feature, while low-noise technology ensures a quiet office environment.

The color laser printer (CLP-775ND), which can print out 33 pages per minute, was chosen as the "Outstanding Small Workgroup Color Printer". The CLP-775ND enables users to produce high quality colored prints rapidly thank to its 600MHz Dual-core CPU and 9600 x 600dpi resolution.

The Easy Eco Driver software helps users easily customize the amount of toner they want to use in order to reduce cost and resources. The software won the "Outstanding Achievement Award in Innovation".
