Seawings donates flights for Breast Cancer Awareness

At the end of October, widely known as Breast Cancer Awareness month, different people and organizations came together to organize events to raise money and support the cause.

One such event was the Pink Biathlon that took place at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel on Saturday the 22^nd of October.
A firm advocator of charitable work, Seawings sponsored the event with a few other organizations by donating flight vouchers to the event as prizes.

"We really believe in creating awareness about breast cancer and when presented with the opportunity to contribute to the Pink Biathlon, we took it," said Prerna Fogat, Commercial Manager at Seawings.

Organized by Original Fitness Co and Jumeirah Beach Hotel Pavilion & Sports Club, the event welcomed people from all over the UAE to participate in a 1600M run followed by a 500M swim and another 1600M run to raise money for the cause.
The Pink Biathlon was well received by the public as the pristine white beaches of Jumeirah Beach Hotel were filed with hundreds of people there to take part in the festivities for breast cancer.

"Breast cancer is something that affects women all across the world so in aid of that we donated two of our Seawings flight vouchers so as to encourage people to participate in the event," said Ms Fogat.

Seawings offers spectacular aerial sightseeing tours over the UAE and winners of the Pink Biathlon will get to enjoy their most popular tour the Silver.

"We are so happy to have had the chance to be part of such a worthy cause and are looking forward to doing more towards breast cancer awareness and other charities in the future."
