Sharjah Airport Authority hosts an exhibition themed “Products of Hope” at the arrival lounge to promote products hand-made by inmates of the Correctional & Punishment Organization Department of Sharjah Police. The exhibition aims to enhance the inmate’s self-confidence by helping them make a difference and integrate with mainstream society.

The exhibition, which is being held during the Holy month of Ramadan, displays a variety of hand-made products including handicrafts and wooden items, accessories, ceramics, textiles, furniture and more. The proceeds of the exhibition will be donated to the families of inmates to help them meet their basic needs.

H.E Sheikh Faisal bin Saoud Al Qassimi, Director of Sharjah Airport Authority, said that the authority always seeks to organize programs and social initiatives. He added that the exhibition will serve as an opportunity for passengers and customers to get to know about the talents and crafts that the inmates have learned during their stay in the Correctional & Punishment Organization Department, as part of the rehabilitating role played by these organizations in rectifying inmates and facilitating their future integration into society.

Hosting “Products of Hope” Exhibition at Sharjah International Airport is a moral and humanitarian gesture that highlights the importance of creativity in the lives of people, regardless of their circumstances, and how a man can invest talent in designing and creating various products with high professionalism and craftsmanship.
