Sharjah Islamic Bank includes a new batch of citizens of the UAE in (Bedayati) program
Sharjah Islamic Bank (SIB) announced the addition of 20 Emirati employees to its team through the (Bedayati) program, as part of the SIB's efforts to attract national elements to enable them to contribute to supporting the comprehensive and sustainable development process in the United Arab Emirates.
In this context, Fadheela AL Marzouqi, Head of Human Resources at Sharjah Islamic Bank, said: "The new employees have been enrolled in a comprehensive training program aimed at enhancing the culture of Islamic banking through training courses and practical work in the bank's departments to hone their specialized skills and knowledge and gain practical experience. The program covers all administrative, technical, and technological aspects of the SIB to ensure they are familiar with all the procedures and operations related to financial and banking services.
She emphasized that Sharjah Islamic Bank is keen to attract national cadres and qualify them to play an active role in supporting the comprehensive and sustainable development in UAE, noting that the SIB is striving to ensure the provision of suitable employment opportunities for their functional capacities and capabilities in various fields. The Head of Human Resources at SIB clarified that the new employees will be distributed to work at the bank's headquarters and its branches in the UAE.
A unique package of programs for the recruitment, training, and qualification of citizens and their education
The Human Resources Department at the SIB provides a unique package of career development and professional training programs aimed at refining specialized skills and knowledge to achieve professional aspirations. In addition to providing a dedicated platform for learning and development within the framework of institutional excellence, and applying learning channels and inputs such as e-learning, virtual learning, on-the-job training, and external participations such as conferences and seminars, among others.
Sharjah Islamic Bank won the Learning Culture Award last year, 2023, from the Human Resources and Learning Platform in the Middle East and Africa, adding to its record of other awards related to Emiratization and human resources. Among the most important are the Human Resources Award in the banking sector for the years 2003, 2005, and 2006, the Dubai Human Development Award for the years 2006, 2007, 2011, and 2016, the Human Development Award in the Refining and Financial Sector in 2017, among other awards.
