Sheikha Hind Welcomes President of Zimbabwe in Qatar

Her Excellency Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, Vice Chairperson and CEO of Qatar Foundation (QF), today welcomed the president of Zimbabwe, His Excellency Mr. Emmerson Mnangagwa, to Education City.

Her Excellency met with the Zimbabwean president, who is in Qatar on a state visit, at QF Headquarters. As part of the visit, H.E. Mr. Mnangagwa was given a presentation highlighting QF’s different academic institutes, science and research centers, and community development initiatives.

Following the presentation, the Zimbabwean delegation was taken to the open-air viewing platform on the eighth floor of QF HQ, where they were shown the infrastructure of Education City and discussed future plans of the Foundation.

At the end of the visit, H.E. Mr. Mnangagwa signed the QF Visitor’s Book, and Her Excellency and the president exchanged gifts.
