SIKKA 2012 hosts informative session at American University of Dubai

SIKKA 2012, the contemporary art fair of the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) to be held from March 15 – 25, 2012, at Al Bastakiya during Art Week, hosted an informative session at the American University of Dubai (AUD).

The session was aimed at educating art, design, and media students of AUD about SIKKA, as well as providing opportunities for them to participate in the second edition.

Almost 50 students and professors took part in the discussion about the open call for art proposals for the fair, internship and volunteering opportunities, as well as the various educational programmes available for students to expand their understanding of visual arts.

Dubai Culture is committed nurturing and promote Emirati and local-based talent by providing them with a substantial platform to showcase their talent.
