Ski Dubai brings the warmth of Ramadan at the coolest place in town
Ski Dubai is preparing for the Holy Month, by dressing its slopes with traditional and contemporary decor, creating a festive ambience that celebrates the spiritof Ramadan. To set the mood, Ski Dubai will be adorned with subtle but festive embellishments such as celebratory lights, symbolic lanterns as well as ice sculptures and different wall engraves to remind guests of this special period wherever they are within the resort.
In addition, Ski Dubai announces special activities to complement the festive mood. As soon as the crescent moon appears, guests will have opportunities to carve their own snow man and sharpen their snowball targeting skills. All these activities will be complimentary upon the purchase of a Super Pass or regular Snow Park access.
Guests carving their own snowman will be provided with carving tools, shovels as well as decorative pieces such as hat, eyes, scarf, carrot for the nose, buttons and pipes; while under the supervision of Ski Dubai staff. Target boards will also be placed around Ski Dubai that guests can hit with snow balls. Each board will come in assorted colours that represent different points.
What’s more, afive-day Ramadan camp will be available for kids aged 3 to 13. A group of kids will be trained 1-1.5 hours in skiing or snowboarding by a variety of instructors based on their skillset. The camp will feature three different levels available for different age groups. The younger kids, who must take a discovery lesson before enrolling in beginner camp, can enjoy discovering snow, cold, equipment and their first slide on the snow. Ramadan camps will start every Sunday beginning July 7th for a starting price of AED 770, with last sessionscommencing on July 28th.
