Love penguins? learn more through a combined 3D and Real-Life encounter with VOX cinemas and Ski Dubai

An up close and personal penguin encounter and a3D film adventure will captivate children and adults at Mall of the Emirates this September. The award-winning Antarctic documentary. The Penguin King 3D, which hits the big screen on 5th September at VOX Cinemas, is paired with the chance to experience a live Snow Penguin encounter offering at Ski Dubai.

Narrated by the legendary David Attenborough, a world-renowned documentary filmmaker, The Penguin King 3D follows this flightless bird’s passage from adolescence to adulthood at the island of South Georgia.  With sharp digital technology, the challenging life of King Penguin’s journey creates the illusion that audiences are in the vast glaciers and wind blown plains buried beneath snow and ice, while penguins penetrate the screen.  Set in Penguin City, the film demonstrates the enormous dedication of penguins to their offspring, similar to humans, which audiences can relate to and be captivated with the drama as the story unfolds.

A dual ticket at a reduced price of AED 145 will be sold at Ski Dubai and VOX Cinemas’, Mall of the Emirates branch, providing access to both the3D film and penguin encounter. The movie runs until 5th October, and the Penguin Encounter tickets are valid until November 2013.
