SouqExtra! and PROSHRED join hands to launch a Document Shredding and Electronic Recycling campaign in Dubai

SouqExtra!, the UAE’s national chain of community retail centres, has joined hands with PROSHRED,the secure document shredding service by averda, to launch a campaign designed to promote secure and environmentally responsible practices and encourage people to recycle more.

The Document Shredding and Electronic Waste Recycling campaign, which takes place from November 10 to 24, will allow community residents in Dubai to destroy sensitive documents on-site in one of PROSHRED®’s state-of-the-art mobile shredding vehicles, while helping the environment as all the shredded paper and e-waste collected will be recycled. Community residents can bring their old paperwork (bank statements, receipts, medical records, envelopes, legal documents) and electronic waste (computers, laptops, keyboards, copiers, monitors, mobile phones) to designated collection points at SouqExtra!’s community centres in the emirate.

The community shredding and recycling event will take place at SouqExtra! Dubai centres in Al Barsha, Al Quoz and Ewan Residences over 3 consecutive Saturdays from November 10 through November 24.
