Spectrami, the leading value added distributor in the MENA region today announced that it has been awarded as the Emerging Distribution Company Award of the Year for its innovative approach and contribution to the growth of IT channel in Middle East.

Channel Middle East, the region most popular IT Channel magazine adjudged Spectrami as the ‘Emerging Distribution Company of the Year 2013’ at the Channel Middle East Awards 2013 Ceremony, which was held recently at the Fairmount Hotel, Palm Jumeriah in Dubai.

Channel Middle East Awards are the most prestigious Channel Awards in the region which attracts channel executives from all across the Middle East region. This year award ceremony was attended by over 300 channel executives and the magazine recognized the leaders in the IT channel business for the ircontribution to the channel in Middle East.

Spectrami won the Emerging Distribution Company of the Year 2013 Award for its innovative approach, channel initiatives, channel development, introduction of best of the breed technologies in security and storage space. The company’s vendor extension business model not just enhances the growth opportunities for channel partners but also hand holds partners in the initial stage of engagement with customers.

During the past year, the distributor took various steps to add value to its distribution business by empowering channel partners by providing training and certification on various technologies and products. Opening of its new office in Morocco is also part of its expansion strategy in the region and render more focus on emerging markets in North Africa.
