Standard Chartered Bank begins free health check-up for employees in UAE

In line with its employee wellbeing efforts, Standard Chartered has announced that it has commenced its free employee health check-up campaign in association with Prime Medical Care clinics in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah. The three-month campaign that runs from 5th of September 2011 until the 4th of December 2011, mainly includes a lifestyle screening package that covers clinical measurement, lipid profiling, fasting blood sugar, uric acid testing, resting ECG, and medical report and doctor’s review. Further, women employees over the age of 40 can opt for breast screening and Pap Smear test.
“Globally millions of people become victims of ‘lifestyle’ diseases each year, making it vital for us to periodically undergo various tests to diagnose potential problems and take corrective measures if needed.
