TAG-Org Presents 'Raneen Al Iraq' Operetta to Celebrate the Victory of the Iraqi People
The Iraqi people celebrated a musical operetta entitled "Amman Tachdou for Baghdad Alhan Alf Laila Wa Lailah”, or Amman sings the melody of one thousand nights and a night", organized by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization on the National Theater in Baghdad on the occasion of the victory of Iraq against the forces of extremism and terrorism, under the patronage of the Iraqi President His Excellency Dr. Fuad Masum and His Excellency Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh.
The ceremony was held in the presence of the Iraqi Ambassador to Jordan Safia Al-Suhail, Dr. Abdul Razzaq Al-Issa, Iraqi Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister, His Excellency Dr. Jawad Al-Anani, Iraqi Cultural Attaché Dr. Haider Kamel Zaidan and a number of Jordanian and Iraqi diplomats, and official figures, in addition to a number of directors of the Organization in different activities and mass media representatives.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh delivered a word to the Iraqis saying: "Iraq has the greatest credit to the Arab nation for its cultural heritage and civilization, which included science, heritage and creativity, and its people were able to withstand the killing machine and the dark thought, offering consecutive sacrifices which contributed to its victory and liberating its entire land from the remnants of ignorance.”
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh pointed to his passion for music, which is the universal language that everyone understands without exception, because it gives human peace and happiness. He stressed that Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization wants through the operetta it composed and produced to be a gift and a token of loyalty to the brotherly Iraqi people in celebration of its victory, the people who deserves to live in peace after suffering the scourge of war and destruction.
From her side, Ambassador Al-Suhail expressed her gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh and the Organization that represents it for the artistic gift which was represented by the musical operetta and the song "Raneen Iraq", or Iraq ringing. She expressed her gratitude and appreciation for the efforts and achievements of the Iraqi Foreign Ministry in the cultural file, which was the result of continuous communication and cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Antiquities of Iraq, which facilitated the retrieval of thousands of important artifacts after they were smuggled during the reign of terrorism.
The musical group of the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Forum, in cooperation with musicians from the Iraqi Symphony Orchestra, performed lyrical passages in the voice of the Jordanian singer Linda Hijazi, which brought together the Iraqi and Jordanian folklore, starting with the song "Raneen Iraq", which received great admiration from the audience as it carried esteemed meanings and melodies. In the last paragraph, the artist Hijazi presented the Iraqi national anthem "Mawtani", which reflected feelings of pride and high esteem of the attendees.
