Tamkeen community engagement events draw over 280 people in May

Tamkeen’s customer engagement and support team held 12 orientation sessions around Bahrain in May. The sessions, which were attended by over 280 people, are an ongoing and important part of Tamkeen’s efforts to promote public awareness of its support programmes to develop Bahrainis’s skills and support businesses in the private sector.
In addition to answering audience inquiries, Tamkeen representatives highlight the organisation’s objectives and benefits of Tamkeen’s support programmes, as well as explaining the application process and encouraging engagement with Tamkeen through its numerous communication channels. The events were held at Riffa, Hamad Town, Umm Al-Hassam, Sanabis, Jidhafs, Hidd, and Busaiteen, among others.

Tamkeen is a public authority established in August 2006, tasked with supporting Bahrain’s private sector and positioning it as the key driver of economic growth and development. Tamkeen is one of the cornerstones of Bahrain’s national reform initiatives and Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.
