Tamkeen supports aspiring entrepreneurs during Global Entrepreneurship Week

As part of its strategic partnership with Tenmou in organising and supporting Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) in Bahrain, Tamkeen shared the latest developments regarding its Enterprise Support programme in a special workshop entitled “Scaling Up & Expanding: Challenges & Opportunities”.
During the event, Tamkeen explained how the organisation’s strategy on improving quality, customer service, and achieving results has been reflected in the revamped programme, chief among them was launching a convenient online portal.
The portal includes a new user-friendly interface, designed to provide tailored support packages to each enterprise based on its business type, size, and sector, in addition to facilitating the application and monitoring procedure, as well as accelerating the approval process. It was also noted that since the portal’s launch in September, it has been regularly upgraded with new improvements and features to help customers.
Also as part of GEW, Tamkeen’s Customer Engagement and Support department participated as part of the judging panel of Startup Weekend, which took place from November 20 – 22 at Rukn ICT Incubator in Manama. The event was a showcase of over 60 aspiring entrepreneurs in Bahrain, with prizes going to the top 3 start-up concepts.
