Tamkeen orientation session for the enterprise development support programmes

Tamkeen's Enterprise Development Support Agency organized an orientation session at Bait Al Tijar Building. The session, attended by well over 300 business owners, highlighted the multitude of schemes available under Tamkeen Enterprise Development Support Programme.
The flagship programme is part of Tamkeen's strategic drive to deliver accessible business support services to enhance productivity and growth of private sector businesses in Bahrain,
Tamkeen's orientation sessions have been operating at full capacity for several months, with over 650 business owners attending the sessions over the past two weeks alone. This dramatic surge came as a result of a series of enhancements made to the Enterprise Development Support Programme based on feedback from existing and potential beneficiaries.
"These Indicators are an encouraging sign that the enhancements to the programme have been well received by the business community across all business sectors,' said Mr. Mohammed Bucheery, Senior Manager Private Sector Support in Tamkeen. "By organizing these expanded sessions periodically, we are able to accommodate a much larger number of business owners in addition to maintaining the regular orientation sessions five times a week at the Agency's offices in Seef ," added Bucheery. "This milestone is testimony to the programme's success, and fuels our commitment to enable even more enterprises to find new growth opportunities through Tamkeen enterprise support programmes".
The session offered applicants a detailed overview of all the Schemes available to them through Tamkeen's Private Sector Support, as well as noting the various enhancements made to make the application and tracking process more accessible and convenient.
Tamkeen's Enterprise Development Support Programmes includes: the Business Development Scheme (Istishara) to assist in the strategic planning and determining vision and goals of the organisation, the Technical Assistance Scheme (Techania) to provide support for the purchase of latest enterprise-related tools and equipment, the Quality Management Systems Scheme (Jawda) to assist in the design and application of world-class quality standards, the Growth Assistance Scheme (Tarweej) to support enterprises' participation in local and international events and exhibitions, and the Marketing Assistance Scheme (Tasweeq) to provide support in the design and implementation of effective marketing and communications strategies.
