Tamkeen and the National Society for the Support of Education and Training host an Orientation Session to private firms

Tamkeen and the National Society for the Support of Education and Training hosted a joint Orientation Session for business owners on Monday, September 3rd 2012 at the The K Hotel in Juffair about the Enterprise development Support Programme (EDS). The session which was organised to mark the 10th anniversary of Career Expo, also aims to encourage Bahraini Business Firms to participate in Career Expo 2012 through Tamkeen’s “Tarweej” Scheme. Tarweej is one of the multitude of Schemes offered under Tamkeen’s flagship Enterprise Development Support Programmeto enhance the growth and productivity of Bahraini business enterprises.
The event was attended by around 80 business owners interested to participate in Career Expo 2012 as well as representative from public and private educational bodies and Societies. The two parties joined hands together again to organise this three- day Expo which is scheduled to take place during the 6th to the-8th November 2012 at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre.
As a Strategic Partner to this event, Tamkeen reaffirms its commitment to support the private sector enterprises for around 60 Bahraini Enterprises at the Career Expo 2012 through “Tarweej” Scheme. Under this Scheme, Tamkeen subsidises up to 80 per cent of the participation fees of Bahraini business enterprises taking part in local and international trade fairs.
This year’s expo will feature 8 wings and 144 stands and is expected to attract over 24,000 visitors across various age groups and backgrounds such as vocational students, Job seekers, parents and professionals in the Training and Education industry.
