Thousands of UAE residents expected to participate in the Dubai Cares Walk for Education 2012 on February 17th

The third Dubai Cares Walk for Education 2012 will be held this Friday, February 17th along Jumeirah Beach Road from 9am onwards with thousands of UAE residents expected to participate. Highlighting the importance of primary education in breaking the cycle of poverty, the walk provides residents in the UAE an opportunity to show their solidarity with children in developing countries with limited or no access to quality primary education.

The walk will be followed by fun and entertaining activities at Jumeirah Beach Park for adults, children and friends to enjoy.

UAE residents can register for the Walk for Education 2012 onsite at Jumeirah Beach Park on the day of the event between 8am and 9am. Participation fee is AED 30 per person and free for children below the age of five. Organizations can also participate as a group by emailing Dubai Cares on info@dubaicares.ae indicating the organization's name and the number of participants.
