Trend Micro to present Cyber-Security Vision for 2020 at GITEX 2014

Trend Micro Incorporated has announced it will present an innovative cyber-security vision for 2020 at GITEX Technology Week 2014.

Trend Micro’s activities will be aligned with Dubai’s World Expo 2020, and the company’s “2020: The Series” online series, illustrating the world of society and technology in 2020.

“2020: The Series” is based on the “Project 2020” whitepaper on the future of cyber-crime, produced by Trend Micro with the International Cyber Security Protection Alliance and Europol’s European Cybercrime Centre.

“In 2020, our daily lives will be data-driven – from networked apps to cloud integration across the business sector. However, this increased connectivity will also fuel cyber-attacks and raise issues of data security,” said Ihab Moawad, Vice President, Trend Micro, Mediterranean, Middle East & Africa.

“In anticipation of increased investment in Dubai and the Middle East in the build-up to World Expo 2020, we are returning to GITEX Technology Week to present leading cyber-security solutions that can be scaled for organizations of all sizes,” added Moawad.

Trend Micro has seen strong success on the integrated Deep Security platform, which provides security and controls across physical, virtual, and cloud servers.

Trend Micro will also showcase the Deep Discovery real-time threat platform, which enables organizations to detect, analyze, and respond to stealthy and targeted attacks, and serves as the foundation of the Trend Micro Custom Defense integrated security infrastructure.

Following the launch of its global partner program, Trend Micro will aim to reach partners and resellers, and support SMEs with its Worry-Free Business Security solutions.
