The Kuwait Office of Turkish Airlines, Europe’s best airline, recently hosted its annual Ramadan Ghabka with local media partners, dignitaries, civil aviation senior officials, travel operators, staff, and corporate clients at the Regency Hotel in Kuwait City.

The traditional gala event was attended by the Turkish Ambassador to Kuwait, H.E. Mrs Ayşe Hilal Sayan Koytak who remarked on the strong cultural and economic ties shared between the two countries and wished its partners in success many more years of fruitful collaborations.

Muhammed Baltu, General Manager, Turkish Airlines Kuwait, said: “I am very pleased to see you all today as we celebrate a joyous time as well as recognize our historical journey together. Today, not only marks a special time of the year, it also signifies a magnificent milestone in our long and successful relationship with Kuwait as we welcome the 40th year of aviation ties with the wonderful people of this country. From the very flight that took off in 1979, we have since flown over more than millions passengers to and from Kuwait to destinations around the globe! “

With new international routes joining its network, Turkish Airlines presently operates flights to 49 domestic and 259 international destinations across 124 countries. 2019 will see the airline fly into, Bali/Denpasar, Mexico City, Cancun, Rovaniemi, Port Harcourt, Luksor, Pointe-Noire, and Strasburg. Domestically, the airline will also add Uşak, Siirt and Çanakkale. These new routes follow the launch of Sharjah and Marrakesh flights, which started in Q1. From Kuwait alone, Turkish Airlines flies to top destinations in Europe such as London, Munich, Paris, Roma and United States of America Washington, New York, Los Angeles, daily flights demonstrating the increased demand for a trusted and world-class carrier. Turkish Airlines maintains its growing presence in Kuwait bridging the two countries closer with more than 56 flights to Turkey every week.
