Turkish Airlines to open 11th air route to Americas with flights to San Francisco

Travellers from the Middle East can now fly to San Francisco from April 13th this year on Europe’s Best Airline, Turkish Airlines. The flights that stop over at Istanbul enable passengers to enjoy a much-needed break in Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport before they fly long-haul to the US.

With existing services to Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, Toronto, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Washington, Boston and Montreal, Turkish Airlines’ flight to San Francisco will be the 11th destination in the Americas. The flights to Northern California’s cultural, commercial and financial center will be operated five times a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays in both directions.

UAE travellers can now fly to San Francisco via Istanbul with round trip fares at AED5,335 with 14 weekly flights from Dubai and 4 weekly flights from Abu Dhabi.

Additionally, there is a special offer for Miles&Smiles members, with a 25% reduction in the miles needed to redeem either award tickets or upgrades till 30 September 2015.*

San Francisco flight times are scheduled from April 13th, and will be available online.
