VIVA’s Stocks officially traded on Kuwait Stock Exchange

The stock of the Kuwait's telecom operator, VIVA will officially begin trading on the Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) on Sunday, December 14, 2014. The company will be listed under the telecommunication sector and the English stock symbol will be “VIVA”. Attended by VIVA's Chairman, Mr. Adel Mohamed El Roumi, VIVA’s Chief Executive Officer, Eng. Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Badran, the listing advisor, NBK Capital, and many financial and business executives and officials, the listing ceremony started with the opening bell marking the opening of the trading on the company’s stocks at the KSE.

VIVA's Chairman, Mr. Adel Mohamed El Roumi said: “Listing the company’s stocks on the Kuwait Stock Exchange is a milestone for our Board members, executive management, and each of our employees. El Roumi thanked Kuwait’s Capital Market Authority (CMA), KSE and Kuwait Clearing House for their collaboration and guidance from the early stages of preparation to the listing. He also expressed thanks to the listing advisor, NBK Capital and team for their professionalism, pointing out that the stock listing will help boost the investors’ confidence in the company, and consequently improve VIVA’s investment and financial position.” 

VIVA’s Chief Executive Officer, Eng. Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Badran, was pleased with the successful completion of the company’s stock listing, stating that the first day of trading ushers in a new era of growth and development for VIVA.
