VIVA Bahrain Launches Talent Building Program with Huawei

The program was launched at Huawei Bahrain headquarters in the presence of Mohammed AlKhushail, chief HR Officer, VIVA Bahrain, and Zhou Qinqwei, VP for Delivery & Service, Huawei Middle East region.

VIVA Bahrain, through its strategic partnership with Huawei, recently launched the second phase of its ‘Technical Capacity Building Program’ to support VIVA’s transformation and growth aspirations.

The program which will run over a year shall focus on core technology areas including 5G, Cloud Technologies, Internet of Things (IoT), Software-defined Networking (SDN), Network Functions Virtualisation (NFV), Cloud and ICT convergence, to name a few.

The ‘Talent Capacity Building Program’ was launched at Huawei Bahrain headquarters in the presence of Mohammed AlKhushail, chief human resource officer – VIVA Bahrain, and Zhou Qinqwei, vice president for delivery & service – Huawei Middle East region.

Mohammed AlKhushail, VIVA Bahrain’s chief human resource officer, said: “We operate in a highly competitive and fast-paced, ICT market where technology and telecom dynamics change every now and then, making it imperative for us to keep pace with the demands of the customers and the enablers within the ecosystem. We are confident in our ability to achieve optimum results with the introduction of a very high-level curriculum developed in consultation with our technology partners.”
