VIVA officially launches its Pinterest Application Account

VIVA, Kuwait’s newest and most advanced mobile telecommunications service provider, has announced the official launch of its Pinterest application account making it the first telecommunication company in Kuwait to launch on Pinterest and create a new channel to communicate with its customers. 

VIVA is proud to be the first telecommunications company in Kuwait to launch its Pinterest application account. VIVA has engaged effectively in a fiercely competitive sector by listening carefully to what its customers are saying, focusing on their needs and being enthusiastic investors and early adopters of new trends and technology. Pinterest is a social media platform launched in March 2010 and won the ’Best Social Media App and People's Voice’ Award for best functioning visual design at the 2012 Webby Awards. Pinterest users can upload, save, sort and manage images, known as pins, and other media content such as videos through collections known as pin-boards. Pin-boards are generally themed so that pins can easily be organized, categorized and discovered by other users. 

Being an innovator and early adopter of new trends, VIVA has invested heavily into its social media platform, and was the first telecoms company in Kuwait to launch its commercial branches’ locations on the foursquare application, as well as posting many customer competitions and special offers via the company’s account pages on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and now on Pinterest.  This investment has been driven by the company’s belief in the impact social media has on its customers’ everyday lives, as well as the need to integrate it with traditional media tools.
