WCM-Q to Run Minor Surgical Skills Workshop for Family Physicians

Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar (WCM-Q) is running a one-day training workshop on minor surgical skills for family physicians on Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 7:50am to 4pm. The course, titled Minor Surgical Skills Workshop, will include lectures and skill-based training on minor surgical procedures in a simulated environment under expert supervision.
The workshop will allow participants to try out new techniques for performing the basic surgical procedures commonly carried out by family physicians as well as to further solidify their skills in procedures and techniques they are familiar with.
The course is being held at Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar’s campus at Education City.
