WISE joins the G20 network of Young Entrepreneurs in Beijing
The World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE) recently participated in the G20 Young Entrepreneurs’ Alliance (YEA) China Summit and Global Innovators’ Conference in Beijing, China.
The YEA supports a global network of young entrepreneurs and organisations in collaborating, deepening, and advancing entrepreneurial activities. The two-day gathering included a wide ranging programme of sessions exploring new horizons in technology, e-commerce, social enterprise, music and the arts.
Mr Elyas Felfoul, Chief of Administration of WISE, a member of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF), took part in a panel focusing on the education and training that young entrepreneurs need in order to grow and lead their businesses.
The G20 YEA called for governments to implement a number of provisions, including supporting entrepreneurship education to address the challenge of youth job creation, eliminating bureaucratic impediments to small and medium enterprises, and encouraging university-business partnerships to support accelerator and funding programmes.
Qatar Foundation (QF) is a non-profit organization made up of more than 50 entities working in education, research, and community development.
Our unique ecosystem—supported by partnerships with leading international institutions—is built on initiatives that address our most pressing challenges, create global opportunities, and empower people to shape our present and future.
