Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi hosts IASS-East

ALBAWABA - Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi is hosting the International Aquatic Safety School-East to offer aquatic professionals in the UAE access to the region’s leading week-long aquatic safety and risk management course.

The event includes five days of interactive sessions, hands on instruction, educational seminars and an International Lifeguard Training Program instructor course.

Designed for aquatic professionals of any skill level or experience, the event will be held from Feb. 27 to March 3, 2023. 

Yas Waterworld General Manager Ryan Watkins said: “As the region’s leading waterpark, Yas Waterworld understands the importance of aquatic safety."

He said that was the reason "why we’re excited to host International Aquatic Safety School-East (IASS-East) yet again and provide professionals with an opportunity to enhance their aquatic safety skills. Through collaborations and partnerships like this."

Participants will benefit greatly from the experience and insights of faculty members and instructors from around the world, in addition to access to a wide range of educational sessions.

Successful completion of the 2023 International Aquatic Safety School-East includes: ILTP® Instructor License, First Aid, CPR/AED, 02 and Blood Borne Pathogen Instructor, vanGUARD™ Aquatic Leadership Instructor License and a train-the-trainer certificate.
