Youth Improve Their Writing Skills at Qatar National Library Workshop

An enthusiastic group of young adults took part in a special writing workshop at Qatar National Library on 4 January, which was led by producer, writer, journalist and media skills trainer Andalous Ibrahim.
An accomplished author and multimedia specialist, Ibrahim introduced participants to writing a range of different content including articles, stories, and text for radio and television. They also learned simple methods for using their writing skills to effectively deliver information. The youngsters were able to tap into Ibrahim’s holistic experience across print and broadcast journalism in different media outlets in Qatar.
One of the event’s participants, Uhud Fadi, said: “Writing is my favorite hobby to work on in my spare time. I am always on the lookout for opportunities to improve my writing skills so a huge thanks to the Library for organizing this workshop, which has helped me learn new aspects of creative writing.”
