Nakheel, the UAE's leading property developer, this week welcomed the President of Gambia, President Dr. Alhaji Yahya A.J.J. Jammeh to the Nakheel Sales Centre, where he praised the "great vision" of Nakheel's project, which the world previously imagined "impossible."
The twenty strong delegation, led by President Dr. Alhaji Yahya A.J.J. Jammeh was greeted by James Wilson, Chief Executive Nakheel and Manal Shaheen, General Manager VIP Sales. The group were treated to a tour of the Nakheel Sales Centre, including a look at the project models, the trunk of The Palm Jumeirah, and a theatre presentation about Nakheel's developments such as the The Palm, The World and Dubai Waterfront.
Dr. Alhaji Yahya A.J.J. Jammeh, President of Gambia said, "Dubai looks to do things differently. Twenty years ago you would have said that creating such islands in the sea was not possible– but with determination and will nothing is impossible. Dubai has many advantages – excellent infrastructure, resources, and most importantly visionary leadership. What Nakheel is doing - this is a great vision."
