Saudi Prince Al-Waleed Bin Talal Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, chairman of Kingdom Holding Company, received in his office in Riyadh the Romanian Ambassador in Saudi Arabia Mihai Perliba.
The ambassador delivered a message from the Romanian government to the Prince,thanking him for his last visit to Bucharest to take a firsthand look at investment opportunities there. Perliba confirmed that the outcome of that visit was extremely positive, and it helped develop relations between Saudi Arabia and Romania.
The two also discussed Prince Al-Waleed’s potential investments in Romania, especially in the tourism sector. The Prince confirmed his commitment to develop hotels there and promised to visit the country to sign the contract for the project once approved and all details are finalized. Ambassador Perliba confirmed the country’s need for a chain of internationally-managed hotels to handle the increasing number of tourists in Romania.
As for the other investment projects discussed with Prince Al-Waleed during his visit to Romania, he requested a detailed presentation about the most significant projects there and promised to review them. — (menareport.com)
