The construction of a prestigious luxury hospital ward at Dubai Hospital was recently revealed by the Dubai Department of Health and Medical Services.
The decision comes in the wake of the overwhelming success of the private section at Wasl Hospital, according to Gulf News.
"There has been a great demand on the private section opened in Wasl Hospital, therefore we decided to set up a similar one in Dubai Hospital,” explained Qadi Al Morooshid, Director General of Dohms. Morooshid stated that Dohms is expecting a great demand for the new section in the Dubai Hospital especially since the experience in Wasl hospital has been very positive.
“The aim behind establishing this new ward is to provide a service that is needed by our customers and are not intended to compete with the private sector," Morooshid added.
The proposed ward will consist of 22 private suites with luxurious facilities including wooden walls, a built in wardrobe, a leather sofa set and LCD television sets, internet connection, as well as a luxurious bathroom and superb nursing services.
The private suites, which are expected to be available at the beginning of December, will be available for both UAE nationals and expatriates at a fee of Dh1,500 per night.
