An international petrochemicals conference is scheduled to take place in Doha, Qatar, on October 20th-21st 2002. It is organized by IBC Gulf Conferences and supported by the Refining, Chemicals and Petrochemicals Practice of Jacobs Consultancy.
“We have just about reached the end of the current phase of petrochemical investment, particularly in the Middle East. It is important now to take stock and identify the best opportunities for the next wave of investments considering location, scale, feedstock, products, legislative developments, financing options, logistics etc,” commented Roger Newenham, group manager of Jacobs Consultancy.
The event’s program will feature speakers including, Abdulaziz Al-Zamil, chairman of the executive committee of the Al-Zamil Group and chairman of the Saudi International Petrochemical Company in Saudi Arabia, who will be delivering a Keynote Speech.
