Qatar Petrochemical Company launches new Beijing office

The Qatar Petrochemical Company (Qapco) recently inaugurated its new Beijing office. The new launch is line with the company’s decision to establish a stronger presence in markets that are vital to Qapco business, reported Gulf Times.  

 

According to Qapco’s general manager, Hamad Rashid al-Mohannadi, the company’s three new Asian offices, located in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing are expected help retain its position as a Middle East leading producer of of low-density polyethylene. 

 

Qapco is a multi-national joint venture, which is 80 percent owned by the Qatar General Petroleum Corporation (QGPC), 10 percent owned by both France’s Elf Atochem, and Italy’s Enichem. Qapco produces Ethylene, low density polyethylene (LDPE) and solid sulphur. The company markets its products worldwide. — (menareport.com)
