According to Al-Watan newspaper, the rent cost of apartments in Jeddah increased by an average 60% through the recent Eid Al-Aha holiday due to high demand by visitors and pilgrims. The occupancy ratio amounted to 100% in all apartments available for rent during the holiday, before withdrawing to an average 50% as the holiday ended.
