A round of free trade talks between the UAE and the United States ended Wednesday, amid press reports of disagreements over labour rights and investment, the lead UAE negotiator conveyed.
According to Abdullah Ahmed Al Saleh, UAE's deputy economy minister, the talks, which had resumed on Tuesday were projected by the Americans to run through Thursday, but ended a day earlier.
The latest round, the fifth since the talks were launched in March 2005, took place in Abu Dhabi.
