ALBAWABA - Ryanair has agreed to purchase 150 new Boeing 737-10 planes, with the option to buy another 150 planes. This is the largest-ever order from an Irish company for goods manufactured in the United States.

The deal is worth $40 billion, according to a statement by Ryanair , which did not include any sharp criticisms, such as those previously made by CEO Michael O'Leary to Boeing due to delays in delivering the requested planes.

After the news of the deal, Boeing's stock rose by more than 3 Percent , while Ryanair's stock increased by 2 Percent. The planes, which are the largest Boeing 737 Max planes, will be delivered between 2027 and 2033.

Ryanair, Europe's largest low-cost airline, said the purchase will help increase passenger numbers from 168 million in the year ending March 2023 to 300 million by March 2034, allowing for sustainable growth in traffic and tourism at low prices (with lower emissions per flight) across all European countries.
