The Saif Al-Ghurair Group has announced the construction of a major new shopping complex in Deira in the heart of Dubai's commercial district. The Reef shopping center will be built at a cost of 200 million Emirati dirhams over an area of 250,000 square feet.
Cadiz International are the lead consultants of the project who are responsible for the design and architecture. Robert Mathew, Johnson - Marshall are the local consultants while Belhasa Engineering and Contracting Company are the contractors on the project. Construction work is already underway with the project planned for completion by December 2003.
The two-level complex will have more than 100 stores offering a range of home-grown brands including fashion, food outlets, entertainment and facilities and services. It will also offer a mix of covered and outdoor parking for 1,000 cars. — (menareport.com)
