Sakhr will also reveal a number of key solutions that were principally developed to respond to the technological dire needs of the Arabic corporate sector. "Making Arabic E-Gov a reality marks our participation in the largest IT exhibition in the Middle East," said Jamil Ezzo, Sakhr international marketing director. "We will be presenting a set of newly developed Arabic solutions enabling e-gov to function in Arabic," added Ezzo.

"Relying on Sakhr's corporate solutions represented in its Circulars System (Taameem), Trademarks Registration System, the Incoming/Outgoing System, ArabDox DMS and the E-Gov Website, together with the active response of the key Arabic government organizations, prove that we are really witnessing a flourishing Arabic E-Gov era where Sakhr plays a crucial role," said Ezzo.

Sakhr will demonstrate its latest version of the Circulars System (Taameem), a solution that responds to the needs of ministries and organizations in the preparation, archiving, publishing and dissemination of their official circulars. It also aims at giving employees the ability to retrieve old and new circulars, based on the date, source, or theme, utilizing the Internet/Intranet infrastructure.

Having been successfully applied in the Egyptian Ministry of Commerce, Sakhr's Trademarks Registration System will be demonstrated at Gitex with additional features. The system originally provides automation of trademarks' registration, archiving management and verification to avoid the replication of an existing trademark.

Sakhr will also demonstrate ArabDox Document Management System version 2.0. The new version of ArabDox supports the latest industry standard XML and is fully integrated with Ultimus Workflow Suite.

Sakhr's Enterprise Translation System (SET) will be one of the key solutions provided by Sakhr for building an innovative E-Gov infrastructure. For the Arabic Press sector, Sakhr will demonstrate Sakhr Press Solution (SPS), an integrated system for building, archiving and retrieving press information. SPS is capable of maintaining an electronic archive of huge amounts of Arabic press materials such as articles, reports and photographs. The system's capabilities extend to include an advanced Arabic search and retrieval system.

Relying on its long experience in Arabic NLP, Arabic Text-To-Speech (TTS) and Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) technologies, Sakhr will demonstrate its latest speech-based solutions including Sakhr Reading Machine for the Blind; a program converting scanned documents deciphered via OCR into an auditory waveform.

Sakhr will also demonstrate the Phone Mail System that enables users to listen to their emails via telephone by dialing a normal phone number. Sakhr will reveal for the first time its Arabic/English Dictation System.
