Saks Fifth Avenue is opening an 80,000 square-foot flagship store in Dubai's new BurJuman Centre Mall to coincide with the Mall's soft opening during Dubai Summer Surprises, 2004.
Announced at a press conference yesterday, the launch is in keeping with Saks Fifth Avenue's international expansion plans, which will include stores in Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait.
Each of the Saks Fifth Avenue stores in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) will be owned and operated by Style Avenue Middle East FZCO, the official licensee for Saks Fifth Avenue for the region excluding Saudi Arabia. The shareholders of Style Avenue Middle East FZCO are Damas Jewellery, Kapico Group, Chalhoub Group, and the Al-Mana Group. — (menareport.com)
