Dubai Holding is currently exploring various investment opportunities in Singapore, according to a senior Singaporean diplomat.
Dileep Nair, Consul-General of the Republic of Singapore in Dubai, told Khaleej Times Wednesday: "We are currently talking to Sama Dubai (Dubai International Properties) and hope that Dubai Holding will come to Singapore."
The Consul-General spoke after the official opening by the Ascott Group of its first Middle East property - Somerset Jadaf, Dubai. The new property is owned by Wafi Group.
"The Ascott Group is one of the first international serviced residence companies to operate in the Middle East," said Lim Chin Beng, Ascott Group chairman.
