Samsung today revealed the Galaxy Tab S2, sporting a new AMOLED display, improved camera, and a host of software features designed to improve the user experience.

The new tablet measures 5.6mm thin and weighs 389g (9.7-inch) and 265g (8.0-inch). The Super AMOLED Display offers sharper colors and images, as well as an improved contrast ratio. It’s powered by a Quad 1.9GHz + Quad 1.3GHz, Octacore application processor, running Android 5.0 with 3GB of RAM. Samsung are also offering a variety of accessories, including a ‘Book Cover Keyboard’ to offer a more productive tablet experience. The Tab S2 also bundles with a selection of Microsoft Office applications, along with 100GB of online storage with OneDrive for two years for free. The Galaxy Tab also features an improved touch-enabled fingerprint scanner for faster unlocking just by pressing against the home key.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 will come in a variety of connectivity, storage and size options: 9.7-inch and 8.0-inch versions with Wi-Fi and LTE, available in 32 GB with MicroSD up to 128GB. Both Wi-Fi and LTE versions will be available at major retailers in the UAE for AED 1,599 (8.0-inch version) and AED 1,999 (9.7-inch version) and for AED 1,799 (8.0-inch version) and AED 2,199 (9.7-inch version) respectively.
