Samsung expects vacuum cleaner revenues to grow by 48 percent in Middle East

Samsung Electronics aims to increase its revenues by 48 percent in the Middle East with the launch of its Twister System vacuum cleaners. Samsung further aspires to strengthen its leadership position among the top three players in the region.  

 

“Today, Samsung is among the leading manufacturer of vacuum cleaners in the region,” said President of Samsung Gulf Electronics (SGE), DK Byeon. “We have over 18 percent market share in the region.” 

 

Samsung Middle East and Africa (MEA) is headquartered in Dubai. Through a network of over 40 distributors, Samsung MEA looks after the distribution of its digital devices across the Middle East and Africa. With revenues of $1.5 billion in 2002, the company has also invested in a service subsidiary, located in the Jebel Ali Free Trade Zone in Dubai. — (menareport.com)
