Saraya Jordan to Highlight Jordan’s Economic Success at MEED Conference

Saraya Jordan Real Estate Development psc will be sponsoring the upcoming MEED Conference to be held on March 28 and 29, 2006 under the patronage of Prime Minister Dr. Marouf Bakheet at the King Hussein Convention Center, Dead Sea.

 

The MEED Conference will highlight the leading projects in Jordan's rapidly growing real estate and tourism sectors, while discussing the many opportunities available in Jordan for direct foreign investment.  MEED will be held with the participation of a number of Government Ministers, heads of private and public organizations and representatives from leading investment companies across Jordan, GCC and Europe.

 

Mr. Ali Kolaghassi, Vice Chairman and CEO of Saraya Jordan said: "This conference will place Jordan's thriving economic climate firmly on display by highlighting the many investment opportunities that are attracting both Arab and foreign investors.  It also provides a highly valuable opportunity to discuss the benefits of investing in Jordan with Government officials".

 

During MEED, Mr. Ali Kolaghassi will deliver a speech highlighting the Jordanian real estate and tourism sectors as well as providing a brief update on Saraya Jordan's first project in the Kingdom – Saraya Aqaba.  Furthermore, Saraya Jordan will be exhibiting their Saraya Aqaba project during the MEED exhibition displaying its facilities and many attractions.

 

Saraya Aqaba is a $600 million beachfront development comprising approximately 610,000 square meters of mixed-use property on the shores of the Red Sea.  The development will be built around a man-made lagoon that will add 1.5km of beachfront to the marine city.  Saraya Aqaba includes five 5-star hotels; residences ranging from beachfront villas to townhouses to apartments; a water park; a convention center; a wharf promenade; an outdoor amphitheatre and an old souk.
