The Saudi American Business Council reported that Saudi non-oil exports dropped by 18.2 percent reaching $720 million in September 2001, down from $880 million in the previous month of August. Saudi non-oil exports include industrial products, petrochemicals, agricultural and livestock products, reported Al-Watan. The same source related the export fall to the September 11 attacks on the United States. — (menareport.com)
