A recently published study shows that 30.3 percent of the residents of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia’s capital, live in rented apartments, while 43.3 percent live in private homes, reported Al-Hayat newspaper.
Also surveyed in the study were Riyadh residents who own their own apartments. Such Saudis presently number 30.8 percent of the Riyadh’s total population. Public housing projects house 22.8 percent of the community, whereas the remaining 3.1 percent reside in other housing facilities. — (MENA Report)
