Saudi Arabia launches biggest gold mine with 180,000 ounces annual capacity

Saudi Prince Khalid al-Faisal Al Saud, the Governor of Makkah, will officially inaugurate on Monday Al Dawaihi gold mine and factory, the biggest gold mine in Saudi Arabia.

The gold mine is owned by the Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Maaden) and will be joining other operating gold mines owned by the company, according to a statement.

The gold mine is the biggest in Saudi Arabia with an average annual production capacity of 180,000 ounces.
